Condensate Recovery Devices

Mechanical Pumping Traps are used to drain condensate from process applications, when the steam pressure in the process application is not sufficient to push the condensate to the condensate return lines or to the condensate vessel. Pumping Traps utilize steam, air, or gases for operation and have no electric
components which may fail.

    Pumping Traps
  • A pumping trap is a device that enables low-pressure condensate (liquid) to be pumped to higher/pressure lines. Installation of this product enables the recovery and effective utilisation of the heat energy of low-pressure condensate, which could not be utilised before, and provides significant energy-saving benefits. This product contributes to productivity and energy savings in the steam system.

    [Applications]
Ideal for recovering condensate from low-pressure lines, recovering condensate to high places and discharging condensate from a vacuum.

■Provides energy savings through savings in boiler fuel and feed water.
■Can be used in explosion-proof areas.
■Eliminates flash vapour and steam generated by indoor condensate (drain)
    ■ Elimination of water hammer generated in the equipment
    ■ Easy maintenance (GL11-A, GLP71-A)
    ■ Available as a packaged unit (-PU)

*The motive medium can be compressed air or nitrogen gas as well as steam.
