Features
Exclusively for Sanitary Piping! Tri-Clamp Connection & All-Stainless Construction for High Hygiene
The body is made of highly corrosion- and chemical-resistant SUS316 with a wetted surface roughness of Ra 1.6 µm.
Highly resistant to rust and contamination, making it ideal for pharmaceutical and food production lines where strict hygiene management is required.
Furthermore, the standard sanitary Tri-Clamp (ferrule) connection allows one-touch attachment and detachment during disassembly, cleaning, and maintenance.Ultra-Compact Design with 30 mm Face-to-Face Dimension for Tight Spaces
Featuring an industry-leading height (face-to-face) of just 30 mm and an ultra-light body weight of approximately 0,18 kg.
It can be installed smoothly without interference even in constrained layouts with short distances between floor surfaces or adjacent piping, significantly increasing equipment design flexibility.
Opens at "5℃ below Saturation temperature" for Reliable Condensate Discharge & Strict Process Temp Control
The diaphragm element operates instantly with high sensitivity at 5°C below saturated steam temperature.
It quickly discharges condensate from steam lines, preventing temperature drops and heating failures caused by condensate retention.
It ensures consistent product quality and energy efficiency in applications demanding stable high-temperature steam control, such as Steam-In-Place (SIP) and autoclave processes.Exclusive Lineup: Model DX1R (With Orifice) for Zero Residual Water During Steam Shutdown
We offer the Model DX1R (with orifice) designed to prevent condensate retention completely.
Even when steam supply stops, the trap prevents condensate from remaining inside, fundamentally eliminating the risk of bacterial growth and liquid pooling.
It fulfills the highest hygiene requirements in biopharmaceutical processes.
Paired Operation with Check Valve (CX1, Optional) for Simplified Piping & Backflow Prevention
Combining the trap with the optional sanitary check valve (CX1) reliably prevents backflow of condensate or steam from the secondary side.
Supporting combined operation simplifies piping integration and installation. Furthermore, the separate structure of the trap body and check valve enables independent inspection and replacement, reducing maintenance labor burden.
Typical applications
Suitable for condensate discharge from sanitary piping
Suitable for condensate discharge in the SIP (Sterilization in Place) process by steam

*DX1R: The design (with orifice) prevents condensate from accumulating in the body in the event of a halt in the supply of steam.
●Maximum allowable pressure (PMA): 1,0MPa (145psig) PMA is the pressure that can be tolerated by pressure-resistant parts (body).
●Maximum allowable temperature (TMA): 185℃ (365℉) TMA is the temperature that can be tolerated by the main unit (body).
●Min. operating pressure differential (⊿PMN): 0,01MPa (1.5psig) ⊿PMN is the minimum operating differential pressure between the trap inlet and outlet.
●Surface height: Ra1.6a (Ra: Arithmetic average height)
*You can use this in a set with a check valve (CX1). (available separately)
